This range of comparators with a round anvil are especially useful for fast and efficient dimensional inspection on production parts.
The longitudinal slide can be adjusted to different positions using the knurled steel knob. It moves along the ground steel pillar which is at accurate right angles to the base.
The round anvil with a diameter of 60 mm is hardened to 50-55 HRC and ground for high accuracy. The flatness of the working face of the anvil is controlled to within 0.00008” )2 Microns)
CONSTRUCTION
The Comparator stand comprises of heavy duty base made from close grained cast iron precisely ground and machined providing a totally flat surface.
